We booked her favorite event space Atlanta for celebrating her birthday. Also, I called and invited all her old friends whom she wasn’t even expecting.zerry hthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15390098326025307659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-60970211390665753332018-10-22T07:11:00.161-04:002018-10-22T07:11:00.161-04:00grtgrtShwetabloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12945314996642903763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-27934015998783919942015-11-02T19:32:13.590-05:002015-11-02T19:32:13.590-05:00Thank you for the post. The trilogy based on the life of Francis Asbury, the young protégé of John Wesley and George Whitefield, opens with the book, Black Country. The opening novel in this three-book series details the amazing movement of Wesley and Whitefield in England and Ireland as well as its life-changing effect on a Great Britain sadly in need of transformation. Black Country also details the Wesleyan movement's effect on the future leader of Christianity in the American colonies, Francis Asbury. The website for the book series is www.francisasburytriptych.com. Please enjoy the numerous articles on the website. Again, thank you, for the post.

If you enjoy a unique story about John Wesley, please visit the blog, John Wesley Budweiser Beer Ad at http://www.francisasburytriptych.com/john-wesley-budweiser-beer-ad/
Al DeFilippohttp://www.francisasburytriptych.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-8074509427515950552015-05-26T08:55:16.190-04:002015-05-26T08:55:16.190-04:00No arguments with this list.No arguments with this list.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-51486063043780659782015-05-12T10:06:45.321-04:002015-05-12T10:06:45.321-04:00I tried my best, but I can't say I watched eno...I tried my best, but I can't say I watched enough wrestling to really have a good list of factions. But I will come up with my own list that will likely not make me popular with this blog:

Top 9 popular wrestlers that I never liked:

9. Andre the Giant
8. The Big Show
7. Kane
6. The Undertaker
5. Stone Cold Steve Austin
4. Dusty Rhodes
3. The Rock
2. Hulk Hogan
1. Ric Flair

When looking at this list, the top half are guys that were just big and didn't really do much in the ring except be big. The bottom half are guys who I feel were stronger on the mic than in the ring, and I just didn't really care how good a guy was on the mic. Just get in the ring and do cool moves, and by that, I mean, don't do the exact same routine every time, don't call a leg drop or a People's Elbow a finishing move (those are lame), but do things that are exciting. Veteran's Day
5. Memorial Day
4. Easter
3. Thanksgiving
2. Independence Day
1. So this is my top 7 generals who did not qualify for your list:

7. The General (from the insurance commercials) - These commercials are incredibly annoying, but it is funny to hear your 4-year old son randomly sing, "for a free low rate you can get online, go to the the general and save some time"

6. General Hummel - Why would I put a character from The Rock who was trying destroy San Francisco with a chemical weapon? Well, his methods were evil, but his motive (to help get money to families of soldiers who died in clandestine missions) was good...and I like Ed Harris.

5. General Grievous - Another 'evil' general, this time from the Star Wars series. But how cool is a droid general who can wield four lightsabers?

4. Bob Knight - I was honestly never a huge fan of college basketball's "General", but he is a legend. And luckily he's no longer going to be a commentator on ESPN, where he was awful.

3. General Hawk - You can't have a list of 'army' generals without including GI Joe, so Hawk gets on this list. And he was both a cartoon general and a live-action movie general portrayed by Dennis Quaid.

2. Obi-Wan Kenobi - Probably more thought of as a Jedi Master, but Kenobi did play a key role in the Star Wars series as general of the Army of the Republic. He also the only general on this list to kill another general on this list (Grievous).

1. General Tso - I have no idea who General Tso is, or if he/she was even a real general. But his/her chicken at chinese restaurants is my go-to dish.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-50199959860731419532015-05-06T22:09:16.829-04:002015-05-06T22:09:16.829-04:00That's a pretty good list there...That's a pretty good list there...Greghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02156629691583048194noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-88574266813938983092015-05-06T09:22:04.251-04:002015-05-06T09:22:04.251-04:00My list of top presidents tend to skew to the earl...My list of top presidents tend to skew to the early guys, mainly because of their contributions in getting this Country set up is impossible to ignore (even if it wasn't necessarily a part of their actual presidency), and because I think it is easier to gauge a presidency well after the fact. That's why you won't see any presidents from the last 50 or so years on here. I still think perception of those guys are swayed so much by personal experience (like how was life for ME while they were president) and it's hard to get a wide view of what they did/did not accomplish.

6. James K. Polk - Not as well known as many others who generally make these lists, he seemed to find a way to get a lot done in only four years (which is not to say I necessarily agree with all of what he did, but I'm impressed that he had a clear plan when he became president, and was able to get everything he wanted accomplished in one term).

5. Franklin D. Roosevelt - The depression and WW2 could have each crippled the nation, but the country survived both events and FDR had a role in leading the country through both.

4. James Madison - Apparently I'm somehow related to Madison through my mother's side of the family, so I've always been a fan of his, and therefore I probably overrate his presidency. But I think most people would have him in the 'good, not great' category, so I don't feel bad including him on this list.

3. Abraham Lincoln - Whether it was his real intent, or a political move, either way, slavery ended under his watch.

2. Thomas Jefferson - The Louisiana Purchase may have happened regardless of who was president, but the fact that the country was able to expand to such a degree, in a peaceful manner and for such a bargain, during his term was very important.

1. George Washington - Set the tone and did well in a turbulent time of getting this Country up and running. A poor first president could have really changed the course of history.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-83342375412614711552015-05-05T21:00:56.958-04:002015-05-05T21:00:56.958-04:00Haha... Horatio Hornblower - A fictional Admiral of the Royal Navy in a series of novels by C.S. Forester. I will admit I've never read any of those books, and only included him because I like his name.

4. James Norrington - In the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, he started as a lieutenant of the Royal Navy, but ended up as the Admiral of the East India Trading Company. Portrayed in the films by Jack Davenport.

3. James T. Kirk - More often remembered as being the Captain of the Enterprise in the Star Trek shows/movies, he did at one point serve as an Admiral.

2. David Robinson - Hall of Fame Basketball player who got the nickname of "the Admiral" due to his playing college at the Naval Academy, he later had a standout career in the NBA as a member of the Spurs, winning two NBA championships. He also was a part of the Olympic Dream Team, winning two Olympic Gold medals.

1. Admiral Ackbar - He did not get a lot of screen time in the Star Wars movies, but he uttered the classic 'It's a trap!' line as he was directing the air attack of the Death Star in Return of the Jedi.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-67270278938511927262015-05-04T09:21:07.894-04:002015-05-04T09:21:07.894-04:00Bobby Orr is a good choice, but Gordie Howe is MR....Bobby Orr is a good choice, but Gordie Howe is MR. He has continued to have a good career though.

3. George - I'm a huge George Harrison fan and like you said, I thought he was under-used in the group (some of 'his' Beatles songs are some of my favorites). But for the most part, I didn't like his solo stuff as much as I expected to.

2. John - He probably didn't realize his talent as a solo artist as much as he could have (some of that was due to his untimely death), but the stuff he put out right after the Beatles broke up (Imagine, Instant Karma, Give Peace a Chance, Happy Xmas, etc) was so big/iconic at the time, that he gets the slight edge over George.

1. Paul - His success and longevity as a post-Beatles artist dwarfs the other three...though I almost dropped him from #1 because I hate 'Wonderful Christmas Time' so much...but everyone is allowed a mis-step.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-69801529423402886642015-05-04T09:00:39.246-04:002015-05-04T09:00:39.246-04:00Yeah, it was hard not having any of the Super Mari...Yeah, it was hard not having any of the Super Mario Brothers games on there. NHL '94 - Sega Genesis - I am a casual hockey fan, but playing this game made me enjoy the sport much more than I ever did before.

2. Super Mario Brothers 3 - Nintendo - The first Super Mario was great, but this one took it to another level.

1. Super Tecmo Bowl - Nintendo - Football is a complex game, so it is hard to make a video game version of it that is easy to play (yet still somewhat realistic). This one managed to do it...I'm scared to think of how many hours I played this game.Jeremyhttp://www.winthropfans.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3616318555323748405.post-65373728663358822662015-05-01T11:41:03.108-04:002015-05-01T11:41:03.108-04:00Hard to argue with that choice, I'd go with Pe...Hard to argue with that choice, I'd go with Pele too.
