It pains me to say this, but Congrats to loooooooooooooong-time Summerville High School Football Coach John McKissick for winning the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year Award. As my gift to him, I will refrain from asking what players Summerville signed this past Wednesday on “National Signing Day”.

To answer your question… No, we will not be picking baseball games on this blog. Even I don’t have time to keep up with that.
A big Thank You to my Uncle George and Aunt Yvonne who came up last night to take me and the family out to eat last night. I would like to think of me letting them take us out to eat as an early birthday gift to Aunt Yvonne. Thanks!
The I’m just sayin… Kid Show of the Week
Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS): That’s right… not every show highlighted on here will be cartoons or “traditional” kid shows. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box when deciding what shows to watch with your children. My girls love this show and I feel it has really taught them a lot of useful “life skills”. This is a show that I have been watching since day 1 (which came as an episode in the J*A*G series on April 22, 2003). This is a crime/drama series that revolves around a team of NCIS special agents who conduct criminal investigations involving the US Navy and Marine Corps. The team is headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC and is led by Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by the great Mark Harmon). Gibbs’s team is composed of Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (my favorite character, played by Michael Weatherly), Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray), and Special Agent (former Mossad liaison officer) Ziva David (who is HOT… The Wife doesn’t like her… played by Cote de Pablo), who replaced Caitlin "Kate" Todd (Sasha Alexander) when she was shot and killed at the end of Season 2. The team is assisted in their investigations by Chief Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), his assistant Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), who replaced Gerald Jackson (Pancho Demmings), and Forensic Specialist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette). The show airs on CBS at 8:00pm on Tuesdays. Re-runs can be found at various times on USA. You can also buy DVDs of previous seasons just about anywhere that sells DVDs. If you must know, my favorite episodes are:
7x01 “Truth or Consequences”
5x07 “Requiem”
2x22 “SWAK”
2x07 “Call of Silence”
8x22 “Baltimore”
3x09 “Frame-Up”
2x23 “Twilight”
8x23 “Swan Song”
6x02 “Agent Afloat”
3x08 “Under Covers”
7x02 “Reunion”
1x19 “Dead Man Talking”
6x25 “Aliyah”
4x01 “Shalom”
7x24 “Rule Fifty-One”
