Know Your Medal of Honor Recipients:

Brigadier General Manning F. Force (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on July 22, 1864, at Atlanta, Georgia. His citation reads:

Charged upon the enemy's works, and after their capture defended his position against assaults of the enemy until he was severely wounded.

First Lieutenant George W. Ford (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on April 6, 1865, at Sailors Creek, Virginia. His citation reads:

Capture of flag.

Corporal Alexander A. Forman (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on May 31, 1862, at Fair Oaks, Virginia. His citation reads:

Although wounded, he continued fighting until, fainting from loss of blood, he was carried off the field.


I was asked by Teresa Lynn if I would make as big a deal on here when I turn 40 as I did for her 40th. My response… Are you kidding me? I can’t wait to turn 40! I just hope I can think of something bigger and better than what I did yesterday. I mean really… ask Danny (yes, that Danny) or KC or Jenn or any number of people I have been friends with at least 4 years what it was like leading up to my 30th birthday.
