Know Your Medal of Honor Recipients:

Sergeant James E. Flynn (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on May 22, 1863, at Vicksburg, Mississippi. His citation reads:

Gallantry in the charge of the "volunteer storming party."

Sergeant Alexander Joseph Foley (US Marine Corps) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on July 13, 1900, near Tientsin, China. His citation reads:

In the presence of the enemy in the battle near Tientsin, China, 13 July 1900, Foley distinguished himself by meritorious conduct.

Sergeant John H. Foley (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on April 26, 1872, at Loupe Fork, Platte River, Nebraska. His citation reads:

Gallantry in action.


Well today will get us into the Top 500 of the Countdown. I know I haven’t had too much to say about the movie list yet, but now we’re getting to movies that were harder and harder to rank. You are going to start seeing some all-time greats showing up on the list now. I would say more, but I’m still working on a pretty big post for Tuesday. I’m not sure if I’ve told you or not, but Tuesday is going to be a pretty big deal…
