Know Your Medal of Honor Recipients:

Ordinary Seaman Isaac L. Fasseur (US Navy) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on June 13, 1884, on board the USS Lackawanna. His citation reads:

Serving on board the U.S.S. Lackawanna, 13 June 1884, at Callao, Peru, Fasseur rescued William Cruise, who had fallen overboard, from drowning.

Private Mosheim Feaster (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions on December 29, 1890, at Wounded Knee Creek, South Dakota. His citation reads:

Extraordinary gallantry.

Sergeant James Fegan (US Army) received his Medal of Honor for his actions during March 1868, at Plum Creek, Kansas. His citation reads:

While in charge of a powder train en route from Fort Harker to Fort Dodge, Kans., was attached by a party of desperadoes, who attempted to rescue a deserter in his charge and to fire the train. Sgt. Fegan, singlehanded, repelled the attacking party, wounding 2 of them, and brought his train through in safety.
